Helpers PNW regional helper thoughts
Posted by rachmanc
Wednesday, September 28, 2005
The following is an article written for the Subud Pacific Northwest newsletter which may have general interest. I thought I would share it with you.

At The Pacific Northwest Subud camp in Indianola (near Seattle) the newly formed regional helpers group (Halimah Brugger, Nadia Woodcock, Steven Czuba, Rachman Cantrell) met and did testing in regard to our strengths, weaknesses and various other subjects. As a brand new regional helper I was very pleasantly surprised at how well we got along and at the depth of our connection as a group.

Subud Enterprise Services SETTING UP AN SES NETWORK
Posted by HarunKennedy
Friday, September 23, 2005
Sachlan Fraval from Melbourne, Australia, is the new chair of SES chosen at the Innsbruck Congress. He writes... I would like to establish an SES network which in some ways parallels the helper network. As the helpers are there to support members in their inner development, I would like to have a network to help members in their outer development, their enterprise life (which includes all endeavours, talents and wing projects). The people in this SES network will not necessarily have to be people with a lot of experience in business. What is more important is that they have the ability to recognise and nurture people's gifts and talents. Anyone who feels drawn to this work can contact me at: sf@geoglobal.net

All World Congress 2005 Stadsale Venue
Posted by amanda
Monday, July 11, 2005
The Stadtsale team are looking for people to perform at this venue during World Congress. Please bring performances from all over the world; music, dance, theatre, poetry, comedy etc, etc. We want a full multi-cultural programme at this venue. As well as performances there will be discos, karaoke nights, jam sessions and many daytime workshops. The key word for this venue is PARTICIPATION. So come and see the team there when you arrive and join in! There will also be a cafe and bar in the beautiful art deco venue. Marilyn Kahan will be running a decoration workshop on the first day so the stadsale will look amazing and you can all help to make it so. The rest of the team are Louise Harrington, Lucas Adamson and Amanda Bolt. We will need lots more help so if you want to join us to help with marketing and organising just let us know. You can contact me in advance of congress at amanda.m.bolt@gmail.com

World Subud Association Some proposals for the WSA's growth and development.

Report and Proposals to the World Subud Association By Daniel Cheifetz, WSA Chair Preface I can't imagine a group of people working with more sincerity or with a greater overall effort than this World Subud Council has worked. My conclusions come out of this mutual effort. I am quite optimistic that there are a number of practical and specific things that can be done in our common effort to renew the spirit of Subud, and I make some suggestions toward that aim. This is a Report and Proposals to the World Subud Association (WSA), which will meet at its Congress this Austrian summer in Innsbruck. The Report and Proposals are based on the 2001 World Congress resolutions, the experience of the World Subud Council (WSC) over the last four years, and what we have heard from Subud members around the world. While this Report and Proposals has been shared with, and influenced by, the WSC, it primarily comes from me as the chairperson of the World Subud Association. The Report is my summary of our situation as it is now – a situation that calls for change and improvement in our Subud association. The Proposals suggest an experiment in change. I do not think that we have to throw away our organization. I believe that we should work within the framework that Bapak gave us, and tend to the development of its content. But what we have now is like a garden that needs pruning, weeding, watering, and more light for it to be healthy and grow according to the reality of our world and the needs of all Subud members. We can do this with care and honesty, respect, courage, and love. We can do it from our receiving and with our action. That way, we will be able to really develop the movement of life that is our garden, and trust that whatever is not appropriate will not choke our growth. http://www.subud.net/img_upload/f466e5f350eb72b1d4b3cafce2a49378/Report_and_Proposals_4.pdf
